Botanical Sources of the Ingredients

  • Saw palmetto fruit extract: Obtained from the ripe fruit of the Serenoa repens plant. The plant is also known in English as saw palmetto.
  • Nettle root extract: Obtained from the root part of the Urtica dioica plant; this is a different part of the plant from the leaf extract.
  • Quercetin: A flavonoid compound found naturally in foods such as onion, apple and caper.
  • Bromelain: A plant-derived enzyme obtained from the pineapple (Ananas comosus) plant.
  • Papain: A plant-derived enzyme obtained from the papaya (Carica papaya) fruit.
