Basis of the Claims
The nutrient claims on this page are taken verbatim from the list of permitted claims in Annex 1 to the Guideline on the Use of Health Claims in Foods and Food Supplements (26.04.2023) published by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK), together with the Regulation on the Use of Health Claims in Foods and Food Supplements (Official Gazette No. 32169, 20.04.2023). For a claim to be used, the daily portion must meet the source condition defined in Annex 4 to the Guideline, that is, at least fifteen per cent of the Nutrient Reference Value set out in Annex 5; this proportion is shown for each nutrient in the table above. Warnings for use
Food supplements are generally well tolerated when used at the recommended daily portion. With mineral-containing products, exceeding the recommended portion may lead to complaints relating to the digestive system. The daily portion is therefore not exceeded.
