Permitted health claims
Under the Regulation on the Use of Health Claims in Foods and Food Supplements and the guideline issued in relation to that Regulation, a health claim may be used only for nutrients included in the list of permitted claims and only where the daily portion provides at least 15% of the nutrient reference value (NRV) for that nutrient. The nutrients in the daily portion of Contracit that meet this condition, together with the permitted claim texts, are given below. The potassium, calcium and magnesium amounts in the table are the elemental mineral equivalents of the potassium citrate, calcium citrate and magnesium citrate contained in the composition. The NRV figures are the reference values established for individuals aged 4 and over. The amounts in the daily portion are below the maximum daily amounts established for food supplements for individuals aged 11 and over.

Basis of the Claims
The nutrient claims on this page are taken verbatim from the list of permitted claims in Annex 1 to the Guideline on the Use of Health Claims in Foods and Food Supplements (26.04.2023) published by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK), together with the Regulation on the Use of Health Claims in Foods and Food Supplements (Official Gazette No. 32169, 20.04.2023). For a claim to be used, the daily portion must meet the source condition defined in Annex 4 to the Guideline, that is, at least fifteen per cent of the Nutrient Reference Value set out in Annex 5; this proportion is shown for each nutrient in the table above. Claims included in the annexes to the Guideline are used without an application for authorisation to, or notification of, the Agency, provided that the provisions of the Regulation and the Guideline are complied with. The product is a food supplement within the scope of the Turkish Food Codex Communiqué on Food Supplements (No: 2013/49).

Storage conditions
The product is stored at room temperature (below 25 °C), in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. The storage condition and the expiry date given on the packaging apply; a product whose expiry date has passed is not used.
